Presented is a nice octagonal sterling silver water pitcher made by Hartford Sterling Co. in the early 20th century. The pitcher has an octagonal base with 8 sides. The body also has 8 sides to it. The handle is simple and sturdy. The spout is design to pour water easily. The overall effect of this design is very appealing and distinct. The pitcher can comfortably hold 6 cups and can even hold up to 7. There is a monogram in flowing script which may read ACS.
The pitcher is marked with the maker's mark for Hartford Sterling Co. and sterling. The pitcher is tested and guaranteed sterling silver.
The pitcher is in excellent condition. There are no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The pitcher is approximately 9 inches tall.
