    Description

Offered for bidding is a lovely ceramic handled BOWL or low PLANTER made by Brush Pottery. It has a beautiful glossy brown drip glaze, called Onyx Glaze, and I'm told it was made sometime between the 1910s to the 1930s. It is marked on the bottom with .01.
    It measures
    6 1/4 inches (15.9cm)
in diameter, and the opening in the top is 4 3/8 inches (cm) in diameter
. A U.S. quarter is shown in the third picture, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance.
The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or repairs.  The glaze has no fading or discoloration. There is barely visible all-over crazing of the glaze.
