McCoy 1953 "Wheat" Vase 8" USA EXCELLENT!

Description

McCoy 1953 "Wheat" Vase, McCoy USA mark, 8" tall x 5".  Brown/ivory creme gloss glaze.  Excellent condition.  As seen on p. 239 HNH Vol. 1.  Also in Snyder's McCoy Pottery, p. 123.  A beautiful 8" tall vase with blended colors of brown, ivory, and wheat stems in light yellow/grn. tint.  The interior of this vase is very clean.  Bottom interior has some crazing, one side interior has some sticker residue which could be cleaned off.  Interior has no chips, no cracks, minimal side wall interior crazing.  The top rim is perfect.  The exterior has a beautiful blend of color and sharp mold design, minimal crazing only due to age.  Wheat stems really stand out on this vase!  Left side exterior does have a little sticker residue, again could be easily cleaned off, small bluish McCoy manufacturing tint on upper left side which does not detract from the beauty of the vase and was made in production.  Two symmetrical handles on the vase are perfect, no chips, no repairs.  Base has no issues and sits balanced.  Bottom clearly marked "McCoy USA".
