This Canterbury by Gund bear was purchased new by myself, in 1993.  All mohair, 5-way jointed.  Made in England!  This is a stately 24" tall purple -aubergine mohair bear.   All tags attached.  She is named "Dominque" and was made specially for the 1993 Disneyland Doll and Bear Convention in Anaheim CA.  They only did two conventions at Disneyland.  This bear is signed by Maude and John Blackburn the artists, numbered 83/450, hangtags attached, and wears a ribbon and a feather head piece.  As an added bonus, she is also wearing some ladies costume jewelry also purchased from Disneyland.  These are completely wearable ladies costume jewelry pieces, earrings, brooch and necklace.  They are gold tone with faux purple stones and hidden Mickey Mouse ears in the borders.  They went so well with the bear, I dressed her up.
Excellent condition, very clean, no odors, no damage, like new.  When it was displayed it was never displayed outside of a sealed glass display showcase.
